We have made some ethical guidelines in order to breed healthty and beautiful Wheatens with good temperaments. These guidelines apply both to our own bitches and the studs.
	We are only breeding with dogs which are free of HD
	Only dogs free of PRA and other eye diseases are used for breeding
	We do not use dogs with proven carriers* of the inherited kidney diseases Progressive Nephropaty and Protein Loosing Disease in their pedigree no matter how many generations back the carrier is found.
	Our bitches must be at least 24 months old before they get their first litter and they must not be older than 7 years before they get their last litter.
	Our bitches must not get more than 3 litters, and there must at least be one season between the litters.
	Our own dogs must be mental tested before breeding.
	None of our puppies are allowed for breeding without our permission and they must have their hips x-rayed and the eyes checked without any remarks. We do recommend a mental test too.
