May 13th Sinéad is in season meaning that we are going to Sweden to visit Honeyrag's Quinn Broderick next weekend. The result of the visit, our S-litter will hopefully be born in week 30 (ultimo July 2012).

May 6th a very important day, as it was Ida Victorias 10 years birthday! Agnes Ganami Kertes from Israel was judging Wheatens. Teagan got Excellent and was placed as no. 3 again. Sinéad became no. 2 in Champion class with CK, and Rosie won the junior class with CK which qualified her for Crufts 2013. In the afternoon Ida Victoria participated in the Juniorhandler Competition for the very first time and did very well.

May 5th Torsten Himmrich from Germany was judging Wheatens at DKKs International show in Roskilde, unfortunately he wasn't particulary fond of the Irish Wheatens, but all Gaelic-Wheaten's managed to get Excellent. Teagan became 3rd in open class and the same did Rosie. Sinéad was placed as no. 4 with CK in Champion Class.

April 22nd: One more day in Hårlev, judge for Wheatens was Rodi Hübenthal from Norway. Today Rosies coat was very good but she was a little bit too skinny anyway she got her very first Excellent and she can take her time to mature. Sinéad won the Champion class with Excellent and CK and became 2nd best bitch.

Ida Victoria and Rosie participated in the 'Child with Dog' competition for the very last time, as Ida Victoria will be 10 years on May 6th. In the morning they trained and agreed on cooperation and that worked! It was a great pleasure to see how Ida Victoria did handle Rosie and to see Rosies confidence in her young handler.

April 21st: DTK show in Hårlev, where Wera Hübentahl from Norway was judging Wheatens. Rosie got a very nice judge report but she was missing coat according to the judge, so she got VG. Sinéad was the only Champion and got Excellent with CK. Finally she was placed as no. 3 in the competion for Best Bitch.
In the afternoon Ida Victoria and Rosie participated in 'Child with Dog' and was placed as no. 2.

February 12th: DTK show in Hedensted where Tinna Grubbe was judging Wheatens. Rosie was Best Puppy again, Teagan won Open Class and was placed as Best Dog nr. 4. Both Molly and Sinéad got Excellent with Champion quality, but nothing more.
Later Ida Victoria showed Rosie in the 'Child with Dog' competition and once again they won the competition dressed in new juniorhandler dress they made a very nice couple.

February 11th: Beginning of a new show year! We went to Fredericia where Michael Forte from Ireland was judging Wheatens. First in the ring was our puppy Rosie, she is in season but despite of that she was showing herself very well and won the puppy class as best of 3.
Teagan got Excellent and became 3rd in Open Class, his 2 sisters Molly and Sinéad got Excellent and Sinéad got CK and was placed as Best Bitch nr. 4.

January 25th: It is winter in Denmark and Rosie is experiencing winter, frost and snow for the very first time, that is why she is spending a lot of time wondering what has happen with the water in all the ponds in the forest, she finds it realy strange that she can 'walk on the water'. I brought the camera and took some photos on our daily walk in the forest.

Someone has done something to the water.........

January 22nd: "Our" Dutch guy Gaelic-Wheaten's Rafferty of Eire was showed in Holland and won BIS Puppy, judge was F. Berchtold from Austria. Congratulations to Teun and Hans.

January 21st: Ida Victoria participated in a seminar for Juniorhandlers, she has decided to show Rosie because they are working very well together and are very fond of each other. It was a very interesting seminar, and both were very tired when we went home.

January 1st 2012: A new year has just begun and it is time to look back:
2011 became a very exiting year for us as we got 3 Championtitles during the year. Sinéad and Oscar became Clubchampions on the very same day in March and Molly became Danish Champion in August with only 9 months between her first and last CAC. Sinéad ended up as Wheaten of the Year nr. 3 and Wheaten Bitch nr. 2 even though she spent 5 months on maternaty leave and had a surgery.
In June Sinéad gave birth to our R-litter with 8 nice puppies. From this litter we exported Gaelic-Wheaten's Rafferty of Eire to Holland and we kept Gaelic-Wheaten's Róisin of Eire. She was shown a few times in 2011 but with great success e.g. she was placed as BIS 3 and BIS baby.
Ida Victoria has participated in the competition 'Child with Dog' and won both times!
